Gerbera Daisies

Well, it looks like I'm finally learning how to post to my new blog. As you can tell there are now tabs at the top. Snicker. Still working on it though. Lots to learn.

So for my first posted project I'd like to show you the gerbera daisies I made for my step mother February last year for her 60th birthday. When I handed them to her she thought they were real flowers. When she bent over to smell them there was no smell. If I would have thought about it I would have sprayed them with some pretty smelly stuff. Oh well, what is done is done. She still has them sitting on her table and gets lots of comments from visitors. I got the idea from Shelley Bohan. You can see her tutorial here. Aren't they beautiful?

Please tell me what you think. I always love to read your comments.

Ta ta for now!

The Beginning of My New Blog

Well, in order to keep up with this day and age of the world wide web, I've decided I'd better get on board and start my new blog. How do you like the name? It's kind of a inside joke around here to call my kitchen, Kimmy's Cafe` because I love to cook. Many of my recipies start with Kimmy's this or Kimmy's that. I've had a long time dream to own my own cafe`. So since that will not happen I've decided to start a creative cafe` so I can post my Stampin' Up! cards and 6x6 recipe pages and other projects to share with my friends and followers.

So please be patient for a (hopefully) short time so I can learn to create a watermark for my pictures, create a beautiful heading and blog using My Digital Studio, and put links on the sides for my demonstrator business web site, catalogs, etc.

So if you have any suggestions, ideas, and tips, please let me know.

Happy Stampin'!
Kim
